Summary: Liam comes home from the hospital.
Author's Note: 7th in T&T series.

It had been a month since they found out that a miracle had occurred. Liam would be coming home from the hospital on his 1st birthday. Willow, Oz, Cordy, and Doyle had flown in right after Buffy had called them and told them about Liam being sick. They had offered their support and sympathy, which the grieving couple was only too happy to receive. Buffy's superiors had allowed her to work shorter shifts to be able to spend more time with Liam. Angel had moved Angel Investigations to Chicago except now they only investigated the normal instead of paranormal. He had left things in the capable hands of Dawn, Buffy's sometime annoying younger sister, while he was at the hospital. Liam had shown that not only was he miraclely cured of his cerebral palsy, but also he was showing signs of being a genius. He had begun to walk a week after his miracle and said his first word, Dada, after two weeks. Needless to say, Angel had wept.

Buffy carried Liam up to their apartment while Angel carried his diaper bag. The boy was squirming in his mother's arms, wanting to walk around. The young family reached the door; Angel unlocked it and allowed Buffy and Liam to enter first. The living room floor was covered with birthday gifts and scattered around were their friends from Sunnydale, Buffy's friends from work, including Doug, Carol, Mark, and Elizabeth. Kate and Tess were attached to their dad's legs but let go as soon as Liam was let down.

"Surprise!"

The parents were surprised. They weren't expecting to see so many people. Everyone offered his or her happy birthdays to the toddler and Willow ran into the kitchen to get something. Buffy had put Liam in his high chair at the end of the kitchen table.

Willow came out holding a cake with one candle and everyone began to sing happy birthday. Liam spit out his candle and everyone got a chuckle out of it. Next, Liam's parents helped him open his gifts and the couple knew that everything was going to be all right.
